Gravel-pit scenery in November
Photo taken from a point on the shore close to the end of Rosewood Drive. The view is south-westwards, with the buildings at Littleton Sailing Club just visible through the branches of the tree. By mid-November the tree has lost most of its leaves, but enough remain to identify it as an oak.
Second thoughts, 27.11.2014: after looking again at my original, I'd say those leaves are too big and angular to be oak - most likely Acer, sycamore.
