Canal bridges at Hightown in Congleton, Cheshire
There are five bridges within a short distance in this gloomy cutting on the Macclesfield Canal. Shown here from beneath the railway bridge are Bridge No 75 (the original Park Lane Bridge, maybe) and a hundred metres ahead is Bridge No 74 carrying Morley Drive but probably originally just a farm accommodation bridge. Above bridge 75 and only just visible is the much newer "flyover" A539 Park Lane/Biddulph Road Bridge.
