Stepped path climbing for Stickle Tarn
Stepped path climbing for Stickle Tarn
The path rising from the New Dungeon Ghyll to Stickle Tarn is in the memory of the photographer one of the earliest of Lake District paths to be 'restored' from its badly eroded state. The version of restoration seen in the image is probably a later one than the 1970's memory recalls!
