By William Jessop and Thomas Telford, 1795-1801, to carry the Llangollen Canal, its 700 foot length articulated by ten muscular arches.
The overlooking viaduct boasts sixteen arches in its 2,000 feet. By H. Robertson, 1848, for the Shrewsbury & Chester Railway.
"Together the two bridges are impressive and instructive". Both grade II* listed.
