SP6359 : St Peter's church, Weedon Bec, from the railway
taken 9 years ago, near to Weedon Bec, West Northamptonshire, England
St Peter's church, Weedon Bec, from the railway
St Peter's church at Weedon Bec, sandwiched between the railway and canal embankments, is one of the landmarks of the West Coast Main Line as one flashes by. That transit is even quicker since work on the curves at Weedon in the late twentieth century enabled tilting Pendolino trains to take this section without slowing down.
Taken as the light died on a grey, misty afternoon in late autumn.
