Flying Squirrel
Flying Squirrel
Seen at Forest How, Eskdale.

Red squirrels can jump distances of several feet. To see whether 'Belinda', the new star at Forest How, would oblige, the owner rigged up a platform within close range of an elevated feeding position. The jumping distance was only about three feet, but it worked fine. The photographer had to lie flat on the ground!
