NY9279 : The way to Thockrington
Just explored the reason I and others (subsequently corrected) have had over the spelling of the hamlet served by this minor road. Looking at the junction on the main A68 from both directions in Google Streetview (November 2022), it is clearly signed as Throckrington (with two Rs). The hamlet, correctly spelt on the OS map, is Thockrington (one R).
