SO7640 : Tree on the ridge of the Malvern Hills

taken 10 years ago, near to Little Malvern, Worcestershire, England

Tree on the ridge of the Malvern Hills
Tree on the ridge of the Malvern Hills
We are often told that Malvern means "bare hill", but following the withdrawal of cattle and sheep the trees have very much increased in number.
Valiant efforts over recent years, by the Malvern Hills Conservators, to cut down trees and re-introduce cattle and sheep get much opposition from locals.
