The town centre at Bourne, Lincolnshire
The town centre at Bourne, Lincolnshire
This magnificent fašade of Grade II listed buildings greets visitors arriving in Bourne on the A15 from the south, a mix of period architecture dominated by the Town Hall built in 1821 and the once grand town house next door dating from the 16th century but now a public house. The Victorian stone frontage to the north, now known as the Lloyds Bank style, dates from 1890-1900 to make up an imposing street scene that once overlooked a busy market place but now known simply as the town centre.
