Southbound arrival
Southbound arrival
An East Coast Mainline train arrives on-time at platform 2 at Newark Northgate Station .... departing on-time at 11.05 southbound for King's Cross. Network Rail engineering works over the Christmas period caused severe service disruption over the preceding days, but thankfully normal service was resumed by 28th December to allow my father-in-law to go home !
East Coast Main Line
The East Coast Main Line is a 393 mile long high speed electrified railway between London and Edinburgh, via Peterborough, Doncaster, York and Newcastle. It was constructed between 1846 & 1871 by several different rail companies.
