Toll bridge at Penmaenpool
A wooden toll bridge over the Afon Mawddach. The bridge was built in 1879 by the Penmaenpool Bridge Company to replace a ferry crossing. The bridge keepers cottage at the southern end was added c1910. The bridge, cottage and the various ancillary structures were put up for sale in 2013, with a guide price of 195,000. The toll for a car at time was 60p.
