SK0546 : Old lane through Moneystone

taken 5 years ago, near to Whiston, Staffordshire, Great Britain

Old lane through Moneystone
Old lane through Moneystone
This narrow track used to be part of a lane that ran through Moneystone, before the nearby Blakeley Lane was diverted to make way for quarry workings. The diverted lane took over most of the line of the old track but this section has been left as a short length of bridleway, possibly because it is so narrow and has a right-angled bend in it.
