Loch Mullardoch
Loch Mullardoch
The enlarged hydroelectric Loch Mullardoch/Lungard as seen from the road end by the dam. The view towards Beinn Fhionnlaidh and Cape Horn is into the setting sun at about 15:30. Cape Horn is the narrows between Loch Mullardoch and Loch Lungard and is so named because it is a bit of a wind tunnel. At low water it dries out and the lochs become two again.
