Old Man of Hoy
Old Man of Hoy
Almost certainly the best known sea stack of the lot due to live television broadcasts in the 1960s. Easiest way up is currently graded as E1. First ascent Rusty Baillie , Tom Patey and Chris Bonington in 1966, the year before the television spectacular.
The stack is reputed to be in its last stage before collapse.
