Berwick upon Tweed
Berwick upon Tweed
A view of Berwick from the viewpoint on Halidon Hill, the site of a battle between the English and the Scottish armies in 1333. The result was a decisive victory for the English, who took possession of Berwick, although it changed hands again quite soon. Berwick's three bridges can be clearly seen.
