Ringbrough Coastal Battery
Ringbrough Coastal Battery
The crumbling remains of cast concrete munitions trackways and ancillary buildings at Ringbrough Coastal Artillery Battery, built between 1941 and 1942. An excellent aerial shot showing what remained of the Battery in January 2000 can be found on the English Heritage website. LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link )

A manor house was recorded at Ringbrough in 1351-2 and again as Ringbrough Hall in the 16th century. The former manor of Ringbrough has been almost totally swept away by the North Sea and now consists of the battery ruins and Ringbrough Farm, the farmhouse having been rebuilt in the 18th century.
