View NE towards Talyllyn Junction, Brecon, Hereford and the Mid-Wales line. All these lines were closed on 31/12/62. In these latter years most of the traffic was worked by these 'modern' LMS-Ivatt 2MT 2-6-0s: these two were Nos. 46522 and 46508 (respectively built 3/53 and 12/52, withdrawn 5/67 and 12/66).
