NU1733 : Partially overgrown field gateway, west of Burton

taken 9 years ago, near to Glororum, Northumberland, England

Partially overgrown field gateway, west of Burton
Partially overgrown field gateway, west of Burton
A wooden gateway to an arable field off the country road to the west of Burton. The gateway is obviously not used for farming any more, probably due to its narrow width which means it has also been neglected by the hedge cutter, however it does provide access for pedestrians and other users to a public bridleway which follows the field boundary.
