Detail view of the Sower, a beautiful stained glass window in the south aisle of Christ Church at Port Sunlight. The window (1949) was designed by Ervin Bossanyi, a Hungarian Jewish refugee from nazi persecution. Windows designed by Bossanyi can also be seen in the cathedrals at Canterbury, Ely, and York.
