Stephenson's Destinator at Borth Station
Stephenson's Destinator at Borth Station
An installation by artist Aragorn Horner and (apparently) a replica of an earlier contraption devised by George Stephenson himself in order to demonstrate to a wary public that rail travel at speed would not be injurious to their health.
It was on display at Borth station for its 150th anniversary celebrations in July 2013 having been shown the previous year at Lime Street Station in Liverpool.
