Featherstone Station House
Featherstone Station House
The stone-built house, which survives as a private residence, is of two storeys. The main gable-end with its ground floor bay window are behind the platform. The main central section was flanked by a two-storey wing to the south and another of one-storey to the north. The 86yd platform was stone-fronted with a tarmac surface. At its southern end, in front of the house, its height was reduced and it ended vertically, with a wooden ramp added.

The South Tyne Trail passes along the disused railway directly in front of the house.
