New Footbridge over the Glentarken Burn
New Footbridge over the Glentarken Burn
This was constructed in November 2013 to bridge a gap in the footpath which follows the trackbed of the old St Fillans to Lochearnhead railway. The original steel railway bridge was removed when the line closed, leaving just the concrete abutments seen in the photo. The new footbridge is 100 feet long and spans the Glentarken burn 130 feet below.
