Coming down the Coal Road in the snow
Coming down the Coal Road in the snow
The road has a 1 in 4 gradient and a sharp bend. It is neither gritted nor ploughed. The driver parked at the top [of this view] for some time, then descended very very slowly and safely. The road below the railway line is ploughed and relatively clear.
