A test for boots and balance

The OS map shows 'ford' at this point, and it doesn't fib. Negotiating this without a wetting requires a balancing act along the right hand margin, whilst trying not to scag clothing on the barbed wire fence. This isn't a flood, just the waters from streams issuing from springs where the chalk meets the underlying clays.
