Corbridge and its bridge over the River Tyne
It's just possible to see the top of NY9864 : The tower of St Andrew's Church (almost directly above the middle of the three bridge arches).

The bridge replaced a mediaeval (13th C) bridge in 1674, and was the only bridge on the Tyne to survive the great floods of 1771. It is Grade I listed LinkExternal link (Archive LinkExternal link ) . Further info on the "Bridges on the Tyne" website LinkExternal link .
