A plaque on one of NY9963 : The two pavilions at the Corbridge Cricket Club's ground says that the "ground was presented to Corbridge Cricket Club by Henry C Stephens of the Manor House, Whalton, in memory of his father, Daniel Stephens JP, who was one of the founders of the Club and, until his death, its most ardent supporter".
