Keele: footpath crossing the bypass
Keele: footpath crossing the bypass
On both sides of the cutting the path is lavishly laid out with attractively sited flights of steps and long generously shallow zig-zags for wheelchair users. However it is obvious from the weed and moss growth that it is almost completely unused. It is difficult to see why it should be used, given the close proximity of Quarry Bank Road as a much more straightforward route across the busy bypass.
