Sycamore laden with mistletoe on the Hardwick Estate, Whitchurch, Oxfordshire
Mistletoe (Viscum album) was once viewed as a pest. It is now recognised as a keystone species, and is an important food and habitat for a number of species.
The lane here is leading away from the Hardwick Stud, and the house in the background is an entrance lodge to the estate. It is also a part of the Chiltern Way.
