About a dozen or so Greylag geese (Anser anser) were strutting about in the field to the east of Wilstone Reservoir, pecking at the ground (for worms ?). Others were swimming on the reservoir (see SP9013 : Greylag geese on Wilstone Reservoir and SP9013 : Greylag Goose on Wilstone Reservoir) also see SP9013 : Greylags on the march
