The remains of Lowther House, Loadpot Hill
On our map this was shown as 'Chy' (chimney). In Wainwright's 'Far Easter Fells', published in 1957, there is an illustration on page 'Loadpot Hill 12' showing a virtually intact chimney with fireplace. He describes it as 'a former shooting-lodge, with stables: the wooden structure has now been dismantled and taken away'.
