Fourth plinth, Trafalgar Square, London
This is 'the first in a series of commissions for the Fourth Plinth under the auspices of the Mayor of London'. The sculpture of a disabled, pregnant woman was unveiled on 15 September 2005 and is to be replaced in 2007 by Thomas Schütte's 'Hotel for the Birds'. The spire in the left background is a church at TQ3008680530.
Trafalgar Square :: TQ3080

One of the most famous squares in the United Kingdom and the world. At its centre is Nelson's Column, which is guarded by four lion statues at its base. Statues and sculptures are on display in the square, including a fourth plinth displaying changing pieces of contemporary art.
