Built c 1837, probably by John Wardle for Richard Grainger, as a row of four plain houses, with three window bays each (the usual style in Grey Street). In 1990 they were reduced to a facade and new offices built behind, with a new mansard roof above. The buildings are Grade II* listed LinkExternal link and LinkExternal link .
