Here Mangreen ends

The lane was cut into two sections when the A47 Norwich bypass road was constructed. This is the northern end of the southern section. The A47 is just beyond the shrubs seen in the background.

Mangreen (lane)

Mangreen is the name of the rural lane leading past Mangreen Hall > Link and Mangreen Hall Farm > Link and via Mangreen Lane > Link to Swardeston.

The lane once used to connect with what at present is the B1113 road, but was cut into two sections when the A47 Norwich bypass > Link was constructed. Although still a public right of way, a locked gate at the southern end > Link blocks vehicular access. The northern section > Link can be accessed from a minor road leading to the Harford Park & Ride car park > Link. It ends at Brooks Green, a designated Traveller site > Link.
