One of several wooden sections on the Deadwood Trail. Easter Saturday was a quiet day in the Forest, we saw few bikers while we walked the trail, but 2 came along a moment later to use this section.
Deadwater Trail, Kielder Castle
There are several Mountain Bike trails that start (and end) at Kielder Castle and run through the forest. The Deadwater Trail has 2 sections. The red section is described as "difficult and suitable only for proficient mountain bikers" and the black section is "Severe and only suitable for expert mountain bikers. It is a highly technical trail that includes epic climbing and thrilling descending." You'll also find walkers upon it.
