Built c 1838 by John Dobson for Richard Grainger. Originally a dispensary, later the Fruit Exchange, and now just part of the facade of the Eldon Centre shopping precinct. The building retains its original ground floor, unlike NZ2464 : 8 Nelson Street, NE1 (which is otherwise identical). The building is Grade II listed LinkExternal link .
