SD3699 : The Latterbarrow Monument

taken 10 years ago, near to High Wray, Cumbria, England

The Latterbarrow Monument
The Latterbarrow Monument
The monument is a superbly constructed cairn set on rocks on top of the fell. It isn't clear what (if anything) the monument commemorates but it does command extensive views over the surrounding countryside.
