Built in 1894 - the date stone is on the corner turret, below the dome NZ2464 : Atlas Chambers, 88 Westgate Road, NE1 - turret, dome and date stone - to house the Westgate Tavern and Restaurant, with offices above. The building is richly decorated, with enormous half-fluted Ionic pilasters surrounding attractively decorated windows and supporting further short colonnades, balustrades and dormers.
