TR2469 : Mouth of the Wantsum?

taken 17 years ago, near to Reculver, Kent, Great Britain

Mouth of the Wantsum?
Mouth of the Wantsum?
Although TR2568 : The River Wantsum is still a few metres wide and quite deep, it does not appear to have an exit to the sea. Possibly the sluice and/or pumps in this small building are where its flow is carried under the sea embankment. The "slippery rocks" message relates to a groyne behind the photographer.
