Permanent Fixture - The Duke Of Lancaster
Former passenger ferry brought to Llanerch-y-mor in 1979 and has remained in place ever since. There has been a number of attempts to turn the ship into a commercial venture, but a series of disputes with the local council mean that the ship has been now been derelict for over 10 years.
In 2012 the first of many enormous artworks appeared on the side of the vessel. A number of the pieces by leading street artists refer to the dispute between the ships owners and the local council.
