The Great Gatehouse of Dunstanburgh Castle
The Great Gatehouse of Dunstanburgh Castle
Inspired by the gatehouse at Harlech Castle.
The area around the castle was dominated by three shallow artificial lakes, called meres, the remnants of two appear beyond the gatehouse.
