A spring morning in Highfields
The ornamental bridge leads to the island in the lake. The park was given to the people of Nottingham by Jesse Boot, Lord Trent, the founder of Boots the Chemist. Boot was also the principal benefactor of the University, giving it the land which forms University Park. The tower of Trent Building shows between the trees.
