British Listed Buildings) dating from 1907. The large tower building in front of that is the George's Dock Ventilation and Central Station of the Mersey Road Tunnel, a Portland tower built 1924-32 as part of the Mersey Road Tunnel. It is grade II-listed (English Heritage Building ID: 214148 Link
