SO8376 : Kidderminster Town Station

Kidderminster Town Station
Kidderminster Town Station
Kidderminster Town is the southern terminus of the Severn Valley Railway and is an astonishing contrast to the utilitarian National Rail station next door. It is not, however, old having been constructed in 1986 to a design based on Ross on Wye station; the concourse canopy was added in 2006. In addition to the piles of antique suitcases that seem to characterise all heritage railways, there are a number of retail outlets specialising in railway memorabilia or offering food and drink.
