taken 3 years ago, near to Lochbuie, Argyll And Bute, Great Britain

Monument celebrating a coronation
Monument celebrating a coronation
The pyramidal monument stands at the shore of Loch Buie. The white stone tablet carries the inscription: “Erected by Lochbuie and his Highlanders to commemorate the coronation of their majesties Edward VII and Queen Alexandra. God save the King and Queen. 29 August 1902". There's been erosion to the panel and certain words are a little hard to discern.
Creach Bheinn is the distant mountain.
