Earlier alignment of A849
Earlier alignment of A849
The A849 through Glen More has been reconstructed on a line which generally left the original route untouched. The road is gradually being reclaimed by nature but is still traceable over much of its course. This stretch lies alongside the current route of the road; the view is generally towards the east.
