Moon rising over a country estate.
John Hobart, 2nd Earl of Buckinghamshire had this tower built in 1773 as a banqueting house and race stand. Built of brick, in a Gothick style, with a round tower of seven stages rising up from a square two storey crenelated block. The Tower was little changed until the 1950s, was still in domestic use till 2002 when its condition made it uninhabitable till conservation work started in 2006. It is now available to let as holiday accommodation.
