taken 10 years ago, near to Silverdale, Lancashire, England

Causeway through the reedbed
Causeway through the reedbed
This bridleway leads to the Public Hide and the Lower Hide. Lots of chattering birds could be heard as we walked between the 6ft high reeds, notably sedge and reed warblers.
