Charlcotte Iron Furnace - Tapping Arch
Charcoal fired blast furnace built c1700 and blown out c1780. Annual cast iron production was 200-600 tons per annum with a highest of 763 tons in 1749-50. It was water powered with a wheel to drive the bellows. The blast arch is on the left face with the tapping arch with cast iron lintels shown.

The site was open for National Mills Weekend 2015.
