SK9828 : Bridge Parapet

taken 4 years ago, near to Bitchfield, Lincolnshire, Great Britain

Bridge Parapet
Bridge Parapet
The brick-built bridge parapet over the West Glen River.

The Hawthorn hedge here is a little rampant. Further along it is flail-cut fairly neatly, but near the bridge the operator has been more cautious, presumably for fear of damaging the brickwork, or the flail.
