Grey phonebox on a corner in Freshford
Grey phonebox on a corner in Freshford
Located opposite the junction of Church Hill, High Street and The Hill.
This type of phonebox looks out of place in an attractive village,
where an older-style red phonebox would have been appropriate.
Freshford was one of the locations used for the filming of The Titfield Thunderbolt (1953).
The film was first shown in the UK in March 1953.
